Case Milanesi 1923-1973 at Villa Necchi Campiglio

At Villa Necchi Campiglio from October, 25th to January, 6th is taking place the exhibition ‘Case Milanesi 1923-1973’ a view of the the biggest experimental period that redraw the urban house on the new context of the modern city.

 

In collaboration with Hoepli, the FAI - Fondo Ambiente Italiano choose the iconic symbol of the déco 30th years in the heart of the city, the spaces in Villa Necchi Campiglio, to explain the prosperous fifty years and the architects that make Milano an open-cast museum of the Twentieth century.

 

It is an occasion to discover some of the most significant modernity Milanese houses. Inside a section completely dedicate at the architects, like Piero Portaluppi, Giovanni Muzio, Luigi Caccia Dominioni, Vico Magistretti, Aldo Andreani, Gio Ponti, Ignazio Gardella, Figini e Pollini, but also a big wall with all the selected houses.
