15 national pavilions and two important changes compared to the previous four editions: everything you need to know about IFFS

The new edition of The Singapore Design Week will run from March 8th to March 11th, animating the island and the city with events and installations addressed at uncovering the value of Indonesian and Oriental design, as well as facilitating the meeting with international companies and designers.

IFFS: WHAT HAPPENS AT THE TRADE FAIR?

The IFFS (International Furniture Fair Singapore) will be held inside the exhibition centre, which - with the 35th Asean Furniture Show and NOOK Asia 2018 - offers a broad perspective of the furniture industry through an experience that introduces new technologies, celebrates design and facilitates business and networking opportunities.

In particular, with the presence of 15 national pavilions, visitors can have a broad perspective on the design industry. In addition, France, Japan, Portugal and Turkey make their debut at the event, while Belgium, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam reconfirm their presence, strengthening the position of the fair as a true international trading platform.

Furthermore, the Italian designer Giulio Cappellini returns with the exhibition "The New Italian Renaissance", which this year is modelled around a typical Italian noble house and will showcase in different contexts -from the living room to the bedroom- the major made-in-Italy brands of furniture and design.
