Politecnico di Milano, Spazio Mostre Guido Nardi
Via Ampère, 2

The exhibition - curated by Adriana Granato and Marco Biraghi - presents a selection of projects, including the Santa Croce Kindergarten, the Cesare Correnti Institute, the Solari swimming pool, the Amendola subway station, the Sant'Ambrogio Quarter, and the Church of San Giovanni Bono, presented through original drawings preserved at the Trivulziana Library of the Sforzesco Castle in Milan, and the Citadel of Archives of the City of Milan.

The layout of the exhibition, curated by studio ibsen, aims to restore-through the "brutalist" use of materials such as perforated bricks and load belts-the atmosphere of the construction site, and consequently of a season in which architecture was characterized in a strongly material and concrete sense.

The photographs on display-all strictly in black-and-white- are the work of Dutch photographer Sosthen Hennekam, who has had a long experience on Milanese architecture, especially post-World War II architecture. The models of some of Arrigo Arrighetti's buildings are the work of the Labora studio of the Milan Polytechnic.

Please note: the exhibition cannot be visited on Saturdays and Sundays.

Mario Trimarchi "Barricades"

Antonia Jannone Disegni di Architettura
Corso Garibaldi, 125

The Compasso d'Oro award-winning designer and architect presents a series of refined objects and drawings dedicated to the theme of barricades, small architectures that explore the concept of unstable balances: stones, stones, fragments of marble and thousand-year-old wood, silhouettes of leaves and birds, semi-transparent crystals and brass scaffolding. The drawings, which for Trimarchi are a means to "understand things better", and the sculptures on display tell how the accumulation of materials and experiences can generate poetic structures, amulets against the fatality of life.

ADI Design Museum
Piazza Compasso d'Oro 1

The exhibition presents the unprecedented objects of an unusual group of well-known designers of our time, different in generation and design approach, who find a common purpose in collecting the fragments of a deliberately syncopated poetic discourse, which has given rise to simple, hermetic, dreamy and disobedient, however always dissonant.
Designers on display: Andrea Anastasio, Federica Biasi, Francesco Binfarè, Andrea Branzi, Maddalena Casadei, Lorenzo Damiani, Michele De Lucchi, Francesco Faccin, Formafantasma, Marta Laudani, Giovanni Levanti, Francesco Librizzi, Raffaella Mangiarotti, Francesco Meda, Elena Salmistraro, Valerio Sommella, Paolo Ulian.
