A conversation with Studio Zanellato/Bortotto

1

What does the Fuorisalone mean for you?
_

The Fuorisalone is a special time of the year; it’s an opportunity to spend an intense week in Milan, stimulated by new ideas and projects, interesting encounters and meeting up with designer friends who we don’t manage to meet during the rest of the year.

2

And what does it mean for Milan?
_

It’s a lively time of year for the city – perhaps the best. In recent years, with the Salone, Milan has reaffirmed its undisputed role as the capital of design.

3

The most basic thing you’ve discovered or learned at the Salone
_

To organize a good appointments diary, wear comfortable shoes and focus one’s time on seeing the most interesting things on view in the city.

4

Your favourite place during Design Week
_

Every year there are different areas of interest, new design districts appear and we discover parts of the city we didn’t know before. Perhaps the most interesting and most beautiful area to discover is still Brera.
