NLXL Wallpaper Design Competition Winners presentation
NLXL presents the winners of the Wallpaper Design Competition at Palazzo Clerici during Salone del Mobile.
NLXL founder Rick Vintage: “With the NLXL Wallpaper Design Competition we are putting the spotlight on the worlds’ most talented young designers. From 580 submissions our jury, Daniel Rozensztroch of Merci Paris, Paola Navone, Job Smeets and Nynke Tynagel of Studio Job, Piet Boon and Piet Hein Eek chose 7 winners. These wonderful designs will be presented in the magical location of Palazzo Clerici.”
The winners are:
Toi et Moi (IL) Overlap one Another (HU) Elvis Wesley, Femke Hofhuis, Erik van der Veen (NL) Marco Eugeni, Domenico Orefice (IT)
The winning designers will be honored by the jury on April 10, 2019 from 17.00-19.00 hrs (Co-hosted by Elle Decoration Netherlands)
Founded in 2010, NLXL is known for Scrapwood Wallpaper, winner of the Editor’s award at ICFF New York, brainchild of designer Piet Hein Eek and NLXL founders Esther Vlak and Rick Vintage
Awards include 2 ICFF Editors Awards and the Elle Decoration International Design Award.
Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in the Netherlands, the Museum of Architecture and Design and The Cooper Hewitt and Smithsonian Design Museum in New York have presented NLXL in their collections.
The Archives Wallpaper by Studio Job was featured in all windows of Saks 5th Avenue for the Alexander McQueen fashion collection introduction, as well as the Paul Smith windows on 5th Avenue.
Project clients include Ralph Lauren, Google, Amazon, Hyatt, Starbucks, Twitter and many more.
NLXL products have been featured in The New York Times, Daily News, Architectural Digest, Wallpaper*, DesignBoom, HypeBeast, Coolhunter, Domus, Dezeen and almost every other major (interior) publication.
