The incredible 2019 edition of Fuorisalone has just ended with excellent results in terms of audience and attendance and an increase turnover for the city of Milano despite the unfavorable weather.

The collaboration between the different actors and the Municipality of Milan has given good results, improving the city’s services and forms of sustainable mobility, the increase in the use of public transport and the use of sharing have reduced the impact of traffic in the city, improving compared to previous years the movements between the the different areas involved in the Milano Design Week.

Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone.it platform have actively collaborated to promote Milan as the capital of design, convinced that the sharing of the two realities is the best business card of the city.
The 386,236 attendees, over the 6 days, from 181 different countries made for a 12% increase over the 2017 edition, which also featured Euroluce and Workplace3.0.

About numbers, on the Fuorisalone.it website, 1,348 events were posted in 950 locations, to which1,876 brands and 1,285 designers were associated.

On the platform we recorded over 2,400,000 page views, made by about 316,000 users in 156 countries around the world, in 516,000 sessions.

We found an average increase in visits of 18% compared to the corresponding dates of the 2018 edition, probably thanks to the new mobile experience and editorial content offered to users.

This year, in fact, we aimed to help visitors through thematic Fuorisalone mini-guides.
In addition to the success of the 'Best of Fuorisalone', our editorial selection of events, the interest of visitors has rewarded above other three topics:
'Fantastic locations' (historic buildings, villas and hidden cloisters), outdoor events and interactive installations.

About social, thanks to the thematic mini-guides and editorial content produced on Fuorisalone Magazine we have reached a coverage of 600k people on Facebook.
