"And if every home is a world unto itself, then to furnish your own space, the keyword is customization"

An idea of home

«Your home is the world you've built. […] Places, relationships and emotions. Our aim is to help you create a home for all of this»: these are the opening words of Novamobili's Home System Daily Inspired catalogue , with an introduction that sounds at once like a manifesto and a promise. And if every home is a world unto itself, then to furnish your own space, the keyword is customization. Customization that Novamobili allows for with living room and bedroom systems and furniture that offer modular flexibility and aesthetic versatility. Click here to watch the video.

A sophisticated bedroom

One of the focuses for 2021 is the bedroom. Sure enough, the new products due to be presented in Novamobili's Porta Nuova showroom in Milan include three beds: the Twice bed, designed by Novamobili Studio, with a bed surround that comes in any of the rovere veneer options and a padded headboard; the Hide bed, designed by Valeria Carlesso, which is upholstered from head to toe and features a wraparound headboard: both also come in a storage option with Simple lift mechanism. Lastly, designed by Silvia Prevedello, we have the Groove bed with padded headboard and bed surround, and feet in any of the veneer finishes or noce canaletto.

The most elegant wardrobe

There are new developments in the wardrobe department, too, with glass side panels and internal partitions consisting of a metal frame, which will be options on the hinged door wardrobe models. On the Perry glass door wardrobe, it means we can create LED-lit statement wardrobe-cum-showcases. Making its debut is the Stave slatted door: featuring a push-to-open system and a curved option, it's perfect for creating corner wardrobes, as well as striking room dividers. New finishes worthy of note include leather for Layer and Perry wardrobe doors. The accessories chapter has been expanded with the addition of the internal drawer unit with profile, new pull-out accessories and motorized clothes lift. The Tweed interior finish is also hot off the press.

Visual comfort for the living room

On the living room front - the focus of the recent Living collection catalogue - Novamobili is presenting the new Blossom sofa, designed by Novamobili Studio. With its modular design, it features curved lines enhancing its softness.

The importance of finishes

When designing a space, we tend to decide what finishes are going in only at the end of the process: why not do this from the start, instead, for the ultimate in customization? To this end, Novamobili has completely overhauled its fabric selection, choosing elegant, contemporary colour schemes, which go perfectly with the other materials in the collection. The new finishes also include the ambra, laguna, castagna, mogano and cotto lacquered options - in both matt and gloss - which are joined by the new super-matt tortora seta and rovere grigio veneer finishes for the living area.

Furniture you can experience first hand

To get up close and personal with the Novamobili range, head to the newly revamped Milan flagship store. For the Fuorisalone 2021 event, the internal layout has been given a makeover to create three zones, each showcasing different living room and bedroom offerings, including coordinating pieces. The Novamobili flagship store, opened in 2015, is located on the ground floor of the iconic Gioia8, building, built after a design by Marco Zanuso and Pietro Crescini. It's a place of great architectural interest, engaging in a dialogue with Milan's new Porta Nuova district.
