CEDIT presents the ‘Hotel Chimera’ capsule collection designed by Elena Salmistraro

“The Chimera project is perfectly placed between art and industry. And with greater strenght in this opportunity, the Hotel Chimera installation opens to the outside, breaking up into slab/painting and becoming the perfect filter between imagination and reality.”

A variety of elements of different origin and nature which, combined together, create a unique ceramic work of almost 20 square metres that reinterprets the ‘Hotel Chimera’ illustration. An original artistic expression consisting of a puzzle of 80 different fragments, each one a work in its own right, a piece numbered and signed by hand, one by one, by Elena Salmistraro.

CEDIT is presenting a capsule collection that is highly expressive and symbolic – distinctive hallmarks of the Milanese designer –, as well as being beneficial for society by supporting a social sustainability project.

Through this work, CEDIT, a ‘made in Florim’ brand, communicates a charitable message that sums up its core values – Culture, Ethics, Design, Identity, and Talent – in line with the Group’s corporate commitment.

Proceeds from the sale of the individual pieces of artwork will be used to support ‘Doppio senso. Percorsi tattili alla Collezione Peggy Guggenheim’, an accessible visitor experience created by the Venetian museum mainly for blind and visually impaired children (to be inclusive, it will also be open to sighted children, as well as to adults).
